With cracked pavements, mismatched paving and a generally untidy and unusable appearance, this client was desperate for a garden makeover. Her main aim was to enjoy her garden during the summer months with a place she could sit and relax with a morning cup of coffee.
Our first change was to establish a small terrace area close to the patio doors where a bistro-style table and chairs could be placed. This area was in full sun in the mornings, making it ideal for the client’s needs. We also added raised beds constructed from sleepers which could also double as additional seating. The back of the garden was accessed via a series of meandering stepping stones set into gravel.
